Dr. Farzana Khan Perveen

Dr Farzana Khan Perveen, Founder Chairperson & Associate Professor, Department of Zoology, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Main Campus, Sheringal. She was born in Karachi and did her BSc (Hons) and MSc (Toxicology) from University of Karachi. She was awarded Monbusho Scholarship and did 6 months Japanese Language Course, 2 years MAS (Agronomy) and PhD (IPM) from Nagoya University, Japan. HEC scholarship was awarded for Post-Doctorate for Aukland University, New Zealand. She served as Research Fellow in University of Karachi; Teaching and Research Associate in Laboratory of Applied Entomology, Nagoya University, Japan; Research Fellow and Teaching Associate in University of Karachi, Founder Chairperson of Department of Zoology of 3 national Universities, Kohat University of Science & Technology, Hazara University. Presently, she is serving as Founder Chairperson and Associate Professor, Department of Zoology and Ex-Controller of Examination in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Pakistan. She has published 132 papers, 73 in International, 26 in impact factor and 33 National reputable scientific Journals with impact factors, 16 with solo authorship. She is author of 6 chapters and 39 books published abroad and chief editor of 5 books of International reputable Publisher. She has 100 Abstracts Publications. She has supervised 50 MPhil, 75 MSc, 4 BS and one PhD students in their theses. Her specialization areas is Bioagromedical Engineering, i.e., Zoology, Toxicology, Integrated Pests Management and Forensic Entomology.
